ILC believes in rewarding those who exhibit initiative, passion, and commitment. Our club currently has three main levels of membership: CORE Leader, Associate, Analyst.
As designed by our founder, the ultimate goal for every member is to eventually become part of the exclusive CORE group.
More than a network of peers, the CORE represents a system of trust amongst its members. During the year, CORE members are primarily responsible for running the club and guiding ILC's vision between the three divisions. Responsibilities include mentoring Associates and Analysts, providing feedback to presenters, and fostering connections with other student organizations on campus as well as business leaders in the professional world.
CORE members are granted their position by unanimous vote of current CORE members. The CORE philosophy is to preserve the quality of the network by seeking out strong leaders of tomorrow."
Members at the Associate level represent those on the possible fast track to becoming a CORE member. Associates are promoted from the Analyst level for their clear initiative and consistent high quality work in any division that they work in.
Most importantly, Associates get their roles for understanding and living the ILC culture.
Associates are given a variety of rotating roles ranging from logistics to launching innovative new projects for the club. These responsibilities are designed to give each member the chance to sharpen their strengths as well as challenge their comfort zones.
All entry level members are Analysts. Since the range in skill level of new members varies greatly, Analysts are rewarded for both their ability to perform as well as their demonstrated interest in learning more.
Analysts are given many opportunities to show their initiative by signing up to give weekly presentations (ILC: F), writing business proposals (ILC: E), or researching trading ideas (ILC: T) under the mentorship of the particular Associates and CORE members working with them in any given week.
